At Melt Arts CIC, a Black-led organisation, we offer bold, inclusive education programmes in dance and musical theatre for all ages.
From THRIVE, our mentorship and career support for emerging Black and diverse artists, to our Associates Programme for committed young dancers, we help talent grow at every level. Melt Academy boosts confidence in 3-18 through fun, creative musical theatre training, while Melt College offers unique, all-around pre-professional training.
Adults can join our high-energy Jazz Theatre Dance Open Classes, open to all levels.

Welcome to our flagship home — a vibrant, fully equipped space for creativity, movement, and performance. We offer a range of high-quality studios to suit your needs, whether you're rehearsing, running a class, holding auditions, or developing new work.
From intimate spaces for small groups to larger studios for full company rehearsals, our facilities are designed to support artists, educators, and community projects. Affordable rates, flexible bookings, and a welcoming environment make Melt the perfect place to bring your ideas to life.
The COMPASS Project is one of the core foundations of Melt Arts CIC — a driving force behind our mission to inspire, develop and connect communities through dance and musical theatre.
Over the past seven years, COMPASS has enabled us to engage deeply with communities across the North West, offering free classes, workshops and creative projects that make the performing arts accessible to all.
It’s through COMPASS that we continue to build trust, spark joy, and create meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to express themselves, grow in confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. This project is not just outreach — it’s a celebration of community, creativity and connection.
At Melt Arts CIC, we are a Black-led, non-profit organisation that has worked tirelessly over the past seven years to create meaningful opportunities in dance and musical theatre. We support young people, emerging artists, and adults to learn, develop, excel and achieve — both on and off the stage.

Melt Arts CIC is a Black-led organisation committed to using the power of dance, musical theatre, creative movement, and arts education to inspire, connect, and uplift communities.
Our aim is to provide inclusive, accessible, and high-quality opportunities that support personal growth, education, wellbeing, and social connection—particularly for individuals and communities who face barriers to participation.
Through educational programmes, workshops, and collaborative projects in dance and musical theatre, we create spaces where people of all ages can learn, express themselves, develop confidence, and build meaningful connections through the performing arts.
